DESCRIPTION WORKSHOPS MACHINES

The pallet of plastic is placed by the operator on the roller feeder or directly on the lift platform. In the case of a roller feeder, it is transferred to the next feeder until it reaches the lift platform area. In both cases, the lift platform lifts the pallet to the gripper, which retrieves the entire layer of bags. The cycle then starts with the roller knives spinning in the right direction and at the right speed, cutting the bags over the chute for the pellets. Using rods and compressed air nozzles, the residual pellets are shaken out of the bags, which are also placed in the hopper area. Bags emptied in this way are discharged into an intermediate storage tank or into compacting or baling equipment (compactor, hydraulic baler). Once the pallet has been unloaded, the lift platform descends. In the version without feeders, the operator picks up the empty pallet with a trolley, while in the version with feeders, the pallet goes to the stacker, where a stack of a specific quantity defined by the operator is created. When the stacker reaches a preset limit, the operator is informed by means of an audible signal that the pallet stack needs to be picked up.

CONSTRUCTION MACHINES

  3. The machine’s key drives have position control, which reduces the number of sensors required.
  4. The self-contained bag shaker rod sets contain air nozzles, driven by an electric motor.
  5. The circular knives for cutting through sacks are made of HSS material.
  6. The machine uses a special filter screen in the hopper to prevent pieces of bag from entering the system.
  7. Process control is carried out using a Siemens Simatic PLC system in a safe design.
  8. Control and management of the machine’s parameters is via an intuitive touch panel.
  9. The machine is equipped with guards that effectively restrict access to the working area.
  10. The safety system meets the category 4 standard, ensuring a high level of safety in use.

CONTROL SYSTEM MACHINE

The machine control produced entirely by Muehsam Solutions for Industry is based on the highest quality standards. It uses components from renowned brands such as Siemens and Omron, which guarantees reliability in all operating conditions. SEW motors and reducers and FESTO/PREMA pneumatics ensure efficient operation and precision.

The system enables communication with the silo loading system, allowing flexible switching between the silo battery and the BIG-BAG stations. Thanks to the software, which includes a statistics module, the user can analyse unloading times and volume flows, enabling the optimisation of production processes.

In addition, special customised solutions can be implemented, making the system versatile and flexible.
